About Cousins Conservatories
Cousins Conservatories and Garden Buildings was started by Gavin in 1990 and today is run alongside his wife Jackie and one of their daughters, Katie. Our mission at Cousins has always been to deliver exceptional quality with a personal service to all our customers across Sussex, Surrey and Kent. We are accredited members of the Double Glazing & Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme (DGCOS) and have a dedicated Horsham show centre, open 7 days a week, to welcome customers to.
Gavin
Gavin is our Business owner & conservatory surveyor who started the company in 1990. Over the years, he has built up the successful family run company and prides himself on creating the perfect space to transform customer's homes. His hobbies include running, football and bird watching. He values a sense of community and is a true family man who loves spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Jackie
Jackie is Gavin's business partner and our dedicated conservatory project manager! Jackie's love for conservatories is matched only by her passion for networking and customer relations. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, playing chess, and spending quality time with her family. With her dedication and diverse interests, Jackie brings valuable industry experience and a vibrant energy to our team.
Matt
Matt is the General Manager here at Cousins. He began installing sheds over 15 years ago, so has plenty of hands-on experience but these days has moved into a managerial role. He is passionate about helping customers find the perfect building for their needs and conducts the surveys for the garden building department. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active with long bike rides and table tennis.
Phoebe
Phoebe is our CAD designer and administrative assistant who is responsible for supporting the conservatory team from the point of quotation all the way to completion! She is also in charge of over-seeing our social media. Phoebe thrives on adventure so in her spare time can be found exploring the UK on road trips, hiking mountains or waterfalls. Otherwise, she can be found cuddling up with her animals and a good book or playing netball.
Liv
Liv is our admin support and sales representative for the Garden Buildings department, always ready to lend a hand and think outside the box. Outside of work, she loves to exercise her creative side making origami stars or settle down with a book from her vast collection. A huge Freddie Mercury fan, Liv brings a calm presence, with a touch of flair, to the team.
Katie
Meet Katie our admin assistant. Can you see the resemblance to her parents? This is our business owner’s, Jackie’s and Gavin’s, daughter who helps out in the company 2 days a week. Aren’t we lucky to have her! In her spare time Katie loves paddleboarding, running and journaling. She welcomes book recommendations with open arms!
Ian
After over 30 years of experience fitting conservatories and home extensions, most of which was spent with us at Cousins, Ian then moved into a technical-based role in the office with us. As our contracts manager Ian is responsible for visiting the sites, liaising with the tradespeople and suppliers and running the jobs alongside Jackie and Phoebe. With his invaluable years of experience, Ian is a real problem solver but in his free time enjoys riding his classic scooters and attending shows with them.
